X Racer*
This Excelsior Big X racer is a fine example
of the ‘power house’ bikes Schwinn was sending out
of its race department in the teens and 20s. This 61 cubic inch
speedster features the Big Valve cylinders with the large 1 ¼
inch carb and massive 1 ¾ inch exhaust pipes! It has the
short coupled race frame and features the beautiful grey and deep
red two tone paint with the hand applied hair line gold striping.
